The card’s elegant mother- child graphic was designed by Warren Brewen for the Creston Gogos, one of more than 180 grandmothers groups across Canada who raise funds for the African Grannies.The cards are appropriate for any and every faith and culture.

The inside is blank, awaiting your personal greeting. The back carries the following simple explanation:

"There are 13 million orphans in Africa, robbed of thier parents by HIV/AIDS. Their grandmothers, having buried their own children, have taken up the burden of raising this next generation. These children are the hope of Africa. But the grandmothers cannot do it alone.

Proceeds from the sale of these cards are donated to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign run by the Stephen Lewis Foundation, www.stephenlewisfoundation.org. Cards are produced and sold by the South Fraser Gogos."
