Many kangaroos are injured on the highway and rescued by locals. This mom and her joey were recuperating at Glendambo. They can become very habituated to humans, rubbing up against you for a neck scratch and some affection. But the wild ones are nasty fighters and do a great deal of damage to vehicles.
