This trip took us down the coast of Washington, Oregon, California. At Bakersfield we took a left to head east through Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. In early January we crossed the border into Mexico at Eagle Pass then headed south, exploring the interior towns till we made Mexico City.

In Mexico City we stored the van for a month while we flew off to check out Ecuador.

Returning to Mexico City we proceeded southeast to the Yucatan Peninsula before heading home through the American mid-west. Think New Orleans jazz and Graceland in Memphis with a Canadian re-entry around Winnipeg.
